Meet Lisa and Emma: Our Newest Associates

This month we are welcoming not one, but two wonderful new people to the Innate team. We are very excited for them to join our team and for them to start contributing to Innate’s company culture!

Meet Lisa

Lisa is the new account executive for Innate. She comes to us after finishing up her master’s degree at William & Mary in Williamsburg, Va. (also her undergraduate alma mater). Lisa originally hails from Belmar, N.J., but loves Virginia so much, she decided to return for graduate studies. She currently resides there as well.

During her spare time, Lisa likes to run. She is currently training for a half marathon. She also likes to tap into her creative side with painting and jewelry-making.

Interestingly enough, Lisa started at Innate as an intern while she was in her junior year of college. We asked her a few questions to get to know a little more about Lisa:

Early bird or burning the midnight oil?

Burning the midnight oil

Coffee or Tea?

A lot of both.

Favorite way to de-stress?

Running, but it should be yoga…after this next half marathon!

What’s something you would like to learn?

Re-learn Italian and learn any other language.

What’s something about you that would surprise others?

I’ve started writing 3 different books, but none of them are finished. They are on my bucket list to finish.

If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who?

Well, having dinner with a dead person would be creepy (ba da bum) so I’d have to say Ken Follett and Margaret George (my favorite authors) so they can help me finish writing my books!

Meet Emma

Our second new addition is Emma. She is joining our marketing department as a marketing analyst. Originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa, this is her first time being in Washington, DC. During her undergraduate studies at Northwestern University, she worked in internal relations at Coca-Cola and studied abroad her junior year in Sydney, Australia.

She enjoys outdoor activities such as biking and likes to try her hand at cooking.

Early bird or burning the midnight oil?

I’m a late-night person. When I do get up early, that’s my most productive time.

Coffee or Tea?

Tea. I don’t drink coffee. I try not to drink much caffeine.

Favorite way to de-stress

I like naps. I’m a pretty easy-going person, though, so I try not to let myself get too stressed about little things.

What is something you would like to learn?

I love cooking, so I’m always looking to learn new recipes!

What is something about you that would surprise others?

I’m kind of a thrill-seeker, I suppose, so I went skydiving in Australia. I also tried trapeze – and was terrible at it.

If you could have dinner with anyone, dead or alive, who?

Cleopatra would be pretty interesting.

Crystal Konz

Administrative Assistant

Crystal's official title is 'office manager,' but she likes to think of herself as 'office caretaker, decorator and personal assistant.' In her free time she likes to spend hours perusing Pinterest, cooking and baking, doing makeup for weddings, and binge watching Netflix.
